Tunisia ambitions to double golf courses by 2020

The Tunisian strategy will diversify the landscape and environment of rangeland “coasts” as those of Sousse and Hammamet, the golf course of Djerba and the “Golf Club Tozeur” which was created in 2007.

The planned achievements for the next decade include the creation of some routes located in the northern shore of the Tunis lake, Raoued (Tunis), Hergla (Sousse), Zarzis and Djerba, which soon will house new integrated courses.
It is worth noting that with 10 golf courses draining 65 thousand tourists per year,Tunisia was ranked in 2008 as the world’s 4th golf destination by the leading French golf tour operators’ magazine “Greens du Monde”,
